SYNOPSIS
Becky, 14, lives with her three younger siblings and her mother in a bleak housing project on the outskirts of town. The real head of the family, Becky dreams of romance and thinks she may have found it with Bente, who’s from a better part of town. But it’s a relationship that seems doomed from the start…
DIRECTOR
Aelrun Goette was born in East Berlin in 1966. She has worked in psychiatry, as a photomodel and as an official prison visitor in the Plötzensee Prison, as well as a costume- and stage designer at the Altenburg theatre. She also works as a director, actress, author and is mother of two children. She has studied philosophy at the Humboldt University Berlin and received her directing Diploma at the HFF ‘Konrad Wolf’ Babelsberg in 2000.
